Jorge Vales Art

IMG_8696.jpeg

My name is Jorge Vales, I am from Cancun, Mexico.

I started getting serious about my art work in early 2015,

I have grown so much in the short eight years I have decided to dedicate my time to do this as a living. I have had anlot of support and encouragement and now

that the snowball is going I have made an avalanche it seems.

I love painting animals, I get more attention for my owls. When I was a child I always wanted to be Ace Ventura, so I will paint my animal kingdom. This is the first all-owl painting series exhibit I've done,

Columbus, Ohio, 2019. I love painting pets too, and a lot of other new things.I have a style of sketch/drawings I developed myself, abstract geometric fine lines and colors. When I paint I'm aiming for what I call

abstract-realism. When I paint anything with eyes I always do that last, it's my favorite part. I hope to get more commission work of all types, if Ihave the confidence to do it I will. I have many more art shows that help me have paintings get new homes. I’ve been traveling and making art along the way in Isla Mujeres, Mexico for the Mansion Seminole, which will hopefully fuel my traveling path. “Windows of the Soul” this title because we focused on the eyes of the paintings. It is something I love to

paint and they tell stories as well. My mother and I made new works

“Cityscapes” for the solo exhibit Cityscapes at the Mansion. I’m now a resident artist at Shadowbox. My roots has leaded to this exhibit.
